Youngstown Area Roller Derby has been around for 15 years. We began in 2008 as the Little Steel Derby Girls, a name honoring Youngstown History. We re-branded in 2023 in an effort to recover from the pandemic. This rebrand has allowed us to be more gender inclusive and has helped to avoid confusion with teams that have similar names. We c

We currently practice at the Calvin Center for the Arts in Downtown Youngstown.

Our mission is to empower and inspire athletes, volunteers and fans while fostering the growth of this competitive sport through training, community engagement and athleticism at all levels.
